We welcome the opportunity to add you to our growing list of satisfied customers.   Sewer Line Cleaning (We also provide Sewer Line Repair or Replacement) At Roto-Rooter we don’t just break up the clog or poke a hole through it, we clean the line right to the sewer walls using our razor scraping technology. We use this approach because it’s a much more effective way to clean the drain line and reduces the risk of having the clog re-appear. There is a right and a wrong way to do everything. If the sewer line is not completely cleared of the clog it can quickly back up and you will end up calling to have it cleaned again. Many other drain cleaning companies simply break up the clog by poking a hole in it to get the water flowing again, but this will almost always lead to future backups and further costly service calls.   Septic Tank Cleaning and Repair If your septic tank is backed up or just in need of periodic service, we will pump your tank or system and take the waste to an approved treatment facility. We are fully versed and licensed in the appropriate environmental regulations and laws regarding septic tank waste. It also eliminates the guesswork in clearing lines or identifies the underlying cause of the frequent back ups. They will call us for a more traditional plumbing issue and ask us to provide this service while we are at their home.   Hot Water Heaters Most plumbers know that you will be in a bit of a panic when you need a new water heater. They take advantage of the customer and sell something that makes them more money rather than providing you with options. At Roto-Rooter we don’t work that way. We will quickly shut off the water source if it is still running and then review your needs before making any recommendations. We know that this approach created lifetime customers for us and we prefer that to making a quick buck. Our plumbers are well versed about conventional and tankless water heaters. All water heaters are not created equal and price is rarely the best way to select. Our plumbers will provide you all the information on annual cost, energy consumption, how they are insulated and the capacity so you can make the best decision. A conventional water heater should last about 11 years; tankless heaters have a life expectancy of 15-20 years. Hard water will shorten the life, regular maintenance will prolong it.     Washing Machine Hoses Stainless steel washing machine hoses are flexible and they will never rupture like rubber hoses. This is a smart and economical one-time investment that we always recommend for our customers.   Sewer Line Repairs and Replacement If you have any of the following issues with your sewer line we can help with this stressful problem: Broken, cracked or collapsed pipe – this can be caused by freezing temperatures, shifts in the soil, settling, construction damage and more. Blockages – Heavy root intrusion, grease, soaps, or foreign objects can most of the time be removed, but sometimes require pipe replacement. Corrosion – this can lead to the line collapsing or leaks. Bellied pipe – shifting ground or soil conditions can cause a section of the pipe to sink and it becomes a natural collection area that eventually can block the whole line or cause frequent back ups. Leaking joints – if the seals break, water will be leaking out and that can lead to bigger problems like bellied pipes. Root infiltration – roots can invade your line and cause backups.   Roto-Rooter has over 30 years of experience helping area business owners with sewer line repairs and replacement. Our video camera inspection system is especially effective at pinpointing the problem and the depth at which the problem is at. Depending on the type of problem we diagnose, Roto-Rooter may be able to perform the repair without damaging your lawn or yard. This is sometimes accomplished using pipe relining. This involves creating “a pipe within your existing pipe” and in effect replaces your existing pipe.   High Velocity Water Jetting We use high velocity water jetting to clear debris from lines and to help clean out stubborn clogs. Our high pressure water jet can reach upwards of 4000 psi and provide the brute force to clear even the toughest clogs. Jetting can be effective in pipes ranging in size from 1” to 24” in diameter.

Toilet Repairs Clogs and running toilets are one of the most common repairs we complete for our customers. Clearing clogs is similar to clearing any drain or line blockage. Clogs can sometimes be the result of larger problems like something stuck in the trap or further down the line. We won’t just “poke a hole” in the problem like many of our competitors that will do a quick fix, we will clean out the entire line so that it runs freely again. Running toilets are not only annoying but they are expensive and waste precious water resources. Most repairs are straightforward and can be accomplished in under an hour. Roto-Rooter can also replace your old toilet with a more efficient model. If your toilet was manufactured before 1994 – it typically will use about 3.5 gallons per flush. The newest designs use only 1.6 gallons per flush. We can show you how much this can save you on a typical year.   Sewage Ejector Pump Repairs or Replacement Sewage ejector pumps are a common system for homeowners who have plumbing below their gravity feed main sewer line. Many homes with basement level bathrooms need this type of system. Roto-Rooter service technicians are fully trained and versed on all models and sizes of pumps. Our vast inventory of pumps allows us to complete the job quickly and efficiently so there is little downtime. At Roto-Rooter we can quickly diagnose the issue with your ejector pump and either repair the pump or replace it if necessary.   Fix Dripping or Leaky Faucets, Bathtubs or Showers Dripping faucets, bathtubs or showers are one of the most annoying plumbing problems for most homeowners. At Roto-Rooter we can quickly and easily replace your worn out parts to make your faucets work like new and if they can’t be repaired, we can replace them. Often, it is more economical to replace the faucet rather than try to repair it, but not always. Leaking tubs and showers can be a bigger issue especially if the leak is behind walls or under the floor. We will diagnose the problem and give you the facts you need to make an informed decision on what your choices are. If you do have a leak behind a wall or in the floor, you will need to take steps to fix it because even if we prevent future leaking, mold can grow and lead to much bigger health concerns.   Replace Water Lines or Valves to Toilet If you have a leaking water line or valve to the toilet it can cause much bigger problems than just wasting water. Most repairs are straightforward and can be accomplished in under an hour. We can also replace your old toilet with a more efficient model. Dripping or leaking faucets and fixtures are annoying but you don’t have to live with the problem. At Roto-Rooter we can quickly and easily replace your worn out parts to make your faucets work like new and if they can’t be repaired we can replace them. Often, it is more economical to replace the faucet rather than try to repair it but not always.   Repair/Change Out Water Shut Off Valves The time to replace your shut off valves is not when the water is spraying out all over the place. At Roto-Rooter this is one of the preventative measures we suggest for our customers. We will conduct a quick inspection of all of your shut off valves and if they are all in good shape you can sleep at night. If some need replacing we can complete the job quickly so you can sleep at night. In this case an “ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.   Electronic Pipe Location At Roto-Rooter we have the equipment to locate pipes, map out the direction of the pipe, locate structural issues with the pipes and determine their depths. Our technology allows us to pinpoint breaks, separations, collapsing pipes, or buried lines that need to be mapped out. Our technology is also very useful in locating septic tank lines to distribution boxes and leaching fields.   Replace Old Pipes It is often a smart approach to replace older cast iron and galvanized pipes if you are having other plumbing work done that will affect those pipes. After years of use these older metal pipes can corrode and develop rotted pot marks that leak. Newer plastic PVC materials are non-corrosive and bring a level of strength and durability that the old pipes can’t provide. Like all repairs, before we ever make the recommendation to replace your old pipes our Roto-Rooter technicians will provide you with all of the facts and the relevant alternatives so you can make an informed decision.   Main and Backup Sump Pump Repair and Replacement The time to replace or repair your sump pump is before you have a flood in your basement. We can test your sump pump and show you how to test it yourself. Roto-Rooter recommends that once we have tested your sump pump and it is in good working order, that you test it at least every 6 months to avoid potential disasters. If the pump however, is worn out or in need of repair Roto-Rooter will provide only the best and most reliable cast iron pumps available. Roto-Rooter makes the recommendation that you test it every 6 months because there are no specific guidelines on how long sump pumps will last. Their operation can be compromised by spiders, debris, dirt etc. and the only way to know they are still working is to test them. It is also a smart idea to have a battery backup system installed in case your power or main sump pump fails. Roto-Rooter technicians can provide you with all the facts and the relevant alternatives so you can make an informed decision.   Garbage Disposal Repair and Replacement If your garbage disposal is not working we can repair it or replace it. If your garbage disposal hums but doesn’t operate then it may be as simple as removing an object that is clogged in the blades. Many times the garbage disposal has become clogged because of the amount of food that has been placed in it or if an object accidently went down the drain and caused it to malfunction. We can open it up and clean it out and often times that will fix the problem. If it doesn’t, Roto-Rooter can provide you with all the facts and the relevant alternatives so you can make an informed decision. Thanksgiving is the one day in the year when we get a lot of calls for backed up garbage disposals. Don’t worry we will be available to fix the problem so your day isn’t ruined. Few things are more frustrating than a kitchen sink that won't drain but Roto-Rooter will repair or replace broken garbage disposals and get your sink back to normal in no time.   Valve Tagging This is one of the simplest and smartest things Roto-Rooter can do for you. We can give you a tour of your business or office and show you where all the key shutoffs are. Our technicians can then clearly label them so you will know where they are in an emergency.   Code Violation Correction If you have been informed by your municipality or any other authority that you have a code violation that needs to be fixed we can help.
